The concept of the Updatedd app is to gather up-to-date news about the world of the metaverse, a complex and ever-changing world where having reliable news in one place is a growing necessity. The design of the app is a concept I created by examining the aesthetics with which the metaverse presents itself today: the colours are set to shades of purple, water green and light blue. The shapes are taken from classic memory cards and electronic components. Overall, the design is also set on a dark mode, which is becoming increasingly common in software and operating systems. The objective I have tried to achieve is to create an app for a very young target audience accustomed to the use of platforms such as Twitch, TikTok and YouTube, from which I have tried to take the aesthetic canons. Being a news and text content app, I set the design on cards, each of which constitutes an update on three levels: flash news, general articles and in-depth articles.

Linked to the app, the concept also includes a website where the same news is presented. The website is presented as a blog, from which it is possible to download the app and enjoy the content from mobile devices. The design is slightly different in shapes and colours because it concerns a second phase of the app's design. In this second phase, with the design team, we decided in fact to bring the design closer to a style more similar to apple products and applications such as Behance.
